The Virtue of Learning and Teaching the Qur’an
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “The best among you are those who learn the Qur’an and teach it.” (Narrated by Al-Bukhari).
This noble hadith highlights the great status of learning and teaching the Holy Qur’an in Islam. The Prophet ﷺ described the best people as those who dedicate themselves to learning the Book of Allah and sharing its knowledge with others. The Qur’an is the source of guidance and light, strengthening faith and improving character.
Learning the Qur’an is not limited to reciting its verses; it also includes understanding its meanings and applying its teachings in daily life. Teaching the Qur’an helps spread goodness and guidance within society, which is why educational institutions strive to provide programs for learning and mastering the Qur’an.
